Our construction update for the week of 9/29/2023 is below:
An overall site plan can be found on the last page of the update. This will help readers gain a better understanding of where on-site work is being performed.
During the week of September 25th W.T. Rich and their subcontractors continue to prepare for and install foundations in Area A. The final section of permitter footings in Area A was completed on Friday. The electrician continued installing underground conduit to the Main Electrical Room. The plumbing subcontractor mobilized to the site and began installing underground pipe for sanitary & rain drain lines. The fire protection subcontractor also mobilized and installed the main fire protection line through the foundation wall in Area C. The site contractor continues to install drainage pipe and structures throughout the site.
Looking ahead to the week of October 2nd, the site contractor will continue excavating to bottom of footing elevation in Area A ahead of the concrete subcontractor installing rebar and formwork for isolation footings. The site contractor will continue installing drainage pipe and drainage structures throughout the site, along with containing to backfill along the completed foundation wall. The electricians will continue installing underground conduit to and from the Main Electrical Room. Plumbers will continue installing sanitary & rain drain lines.
Trucks, equipment, and deliveries will be a continuous presence at both the north and south gate entrances.
