Our construction update for the week of 3/28/2025 is below:
During the week of March 24th, installation of the exterior façade panels continues along the north elevation of Area B where a vertical stack of the façade was left off for loading & unloading materials thought construction. The site contractor continues grading the soil around the building, preparing the walkways to the entry doors, and installing granite curbing. At the concession stand, roofing installation continued. Inside the building crews continued installing TV monitors on the 4th floor. Filling in the ceiling grid with tiles continued on the 3rd and 2nd floors. The final coat of paint is applied to the 2nd floor walls. At this point in the project much of the construction activity is focused on the 1st floor where flooring is being installed in the Band and Choral rooms, carpet is being installed at the auditorium seating area, while the stage flooring is also installed. Crews continue to make final electrical & plumbing connections to the kitchen equipment. In the gymnasium crews have begun painting the different sport lines & town logos on the court.
Looking ahead to the week of March 31st, an interim construction cleaning will continue on the 2nd floor. TV install will continue the 4th and 3rd floors. Installation of ceiling tiles will continue at the 2nd floor while the final coat of paint is applied to the walls. Installation of framing components and exterior façade panels will continue at the north elevation of Area B. The landscaper is expected to mobilize to the site and will being preparing the planting areas with soil.
Trucks, equipment, and deliveries will be a continuous presence at the south gate entrances.
